Liquids and pastes are dosed with piston, rotor or ceramic pumps chosen by viscosity and particle size. Small sachets and honey sticks run on multi-lane machines; pillow sachets on a liquid VFFS; spout and stand-up pouches on a premade-pouch machine with a piston filler; bottles and jars on a filling and capping line. Heated, stirred hoppers keep hot-pot bases and thick sauces flowing.
